In contrast, the paper stick used for lollipops does not have a central hole, and the candy end of the paper stick does not have a small opening. This is for a reason.

This is because the surface friction coefficient of the paper is large, the microscopic contact area of the syrup on the paper stick is large enough, and the adhesion is sufficient, so there is no need to make holes separately. Same as the outer diameter of the plastic rod, the hollow paper rod is difficult to process and has low hardness. But the solid paper rod has higher hardness, the processing technology is simpler than the hollow paper rod, and the speed is higher. Moreover, when the diameter of the solid paper rod is small, the hardness of the hollow plastic rod can be achieved.

Printed paper lollipop sticks are not only environmentally friendly and easily degradable, but they can also reduce accidental injuries when children are holding a lollipop (for example, they fall while holding a lollipop, because the hardness of the paper stick is reduced after being soaked by saliva.
